Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Planning Workshop
A Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control (SESC) Planning Workshop was conducted on April 26, 2005 from 9:00 - 3:00 at the Moline Holiday Inn. The cost for the workshop is $15 which includes lunch and handouts. There were 44 participants in the workshop where they were able to earn continuing education credits.
Discussion was on SESC Regulations; NPDES; Local Ordinances, Components of and Effective SESC; and Plan Development. Our speakers were from the Illinois EPA, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, Bi-State Regional Commission, Soil & Water Conservation Districts and Interstate RC&D.
This workshop is being sponsored by Interstate RC&D; Rock Island County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD); Henry County SWCD; Mercer County SWCD; Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS); Association of Illinois SWCD and IEPA.
