Hillcrest Nursing Home Wind Study
Interstate RC&D is worked with representatives from Henry County on installing wind measuring devices at Hillcrest Nursing Home, The installation of wind turbines will help cut the cost of the electricity for this facility.
Interstate RC&D has submitted a proposal to the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs for assistance in conducting a study to see if these locations would be feasible to construct wind turbines to generate electricity.
A tower has been installed at Hillcrest Nursing Home and they are now conducting the study to see if this will be a feasible site.
