Legislative Breakfasts
Since 2000 Interstate RC&D has been sponsoring legislative breakfasts for both Illinois and Iowa Legislators. From 2000 to 2002 we hosted a separate breakfast for Illinois and Iowa. In 2003 we hosted our first Two-State Illinois-Iowa Legislative Breakfast.
Many state and federal legislators from Illinois and Iowa attended these breakfasts along with Interstate RC&D board members and county officials. This is a great networking for the RC&D Council Members and Legislators.
We hosted our 3rd annual two-state Illinois-Iowa Legislative Breakfast on August 11, 2005 at the Davenport Holiday Inn. The council will be planning the 2006 breakfast which
is being postponed at this time due to scheduling conflicts.
